National Handwriting Contest 2025
Contest Fact Sheet
1. The National Handwriting Contest is open to all Students in BASIC 1-6, JSS & SSS.
2. The Contest attract approxiamately more than 5,000 participants annually.
3. Participants can enter the contest by obtaining their forms on www.handwritngfixers.com
4. The contest will officially begin 24th March 2025 and will end 25th August 2025.
5. The Contest entries are going be judged according to the keys of legibility; SHAPE, SIZING, SPACING, STYLE.
6. The Contest will hold in following stages; CONTEST, STATE QUALIFYING CONTEST, REGIONAL QUALIFYING CONTEST, FINAL CONTEST.
7. FINALS QUALIFIERS will be attending the GRAND FINALE in ABUJA with ALL EXPENSES PAID on the QUALIFIERS.
8. WINNERS of the Contest will be awarded CASH PRIZE, TROPHY, MEDALS and EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS.
9. In honour of one our departed team member. We have. created THE AMAKA SPECIAL AWARD for the BEST BEHAVED STUDENT IN CAMP during the course of the GRAND FINALE CAMPING.
10. Early registered students will have access to previous editions booklet for practice.
Contest Timeline
1. Registration: 24th March – 27th June 2025.
2. Press Conference: 29th June 2024 (Lagos).
3. 1st Stage: General Contest (1st – 5th of July 2025).
4. 2nd Stage: State Qualifying Contest (21st – 25th July 2025).
5. 3rd Stage: Regional Qualifying Contest (11th – 13th August 2025).
6. 4th Stage: Grand Finale (22nd -25th August 2025).
Grandfinale Timeline
1. Arrivals – Friday, 22nd August 2025.
2. Grand Finale Contest: Saturday, 23rd August 2025. (Live Event Courage)
3. Announcement of Winners & Presentation of Gifts . Sunday, 24th August 2025. wmNg
4. Departure: Monday 25th August 2025.
